Frequently asked questions
Do I need climbing experience?
No technical climbing skill is required on any standard route — this is a high-altitude trek, not a technical climb. Fitness and acclimatization matter far more than prior experience.
What is the summit success rate on this route?
Longer routes with better acclimatization profiles (7+ days) generally have higher summit success rates than shorter routes, since the body has more time to adjust to altitude.
